Complaining would be me saying "expletive that, I'm not paying that much"

400$ is real cheap!
most shops charge 95-100$ a hour... im sure a rushed tuck could be done in 4 hours.. but the quality of the work chase has shown is no rush job... hope anyone who had chase do there bay was a big tipper!!!
personally... you appreciate the work more when its done yourself.

Anyone powder coat a master cyclinder? or paint at least... i want it to look clean, but want to make sure it will function normal..
most likely will do the prop valve and wiper motor too... cant afford to do the brake tuck, so i figured i would clean it all up.

I say paint it just make sure you plug the holes good so no paint gets in there....I did mine on my old hatch just use a wire brush to clean it up and some brake cleaner then put it in the oven to dry it up

Re: (^Sammy]!.)
well it doesnt need to be cleaned.. i bought the 91 EX MC and BB brand new from honda.. so there fresh looking!
i wanted to paint the MC and Prop valve gold.. and find a way to make the hard lines black...
and paint the wiper motor black...just to make it disapear! there should be something made to tuck that motor on an EF!!
im just worried that gold paint will flake...
powder coat is professional looking!!

Mine is done, I'll see if I have a pic, if not I'll take one real quick. It will continue to function just fine. Paint will not hurt anything and If I'm not mistaken rHandy's was powder coated.

Thanks bud
Amazing build. Does he have a project thread anywhere? I'd love to read up on it and give him some props.
nonetheless.
