Hope this seals okay.

It's a 6 to 4 reducer I had extra. I had to do some modifying and then it pressed on.

Do yourself a favor and at least get a gas conversion.

Dont want to be mean or rude but NEVER, EVER weld on a car with a gassless mig. EVER

Every one of your bays will crack and rust within 2 to 3 years.....flux is very porous, rusts from the inside out and there is nothing that can be done to stop it.....ugh. Ive had to fix 2 other bays that were done this way. Drill out every friggin hole and do it all again. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Im sure any other professional that reads this thread will agree.

Gasless is for fixing fences out on the ranch. I stand by my statement as well. Use good tools, get good results.

Question guys. I am going to mount my Fule filter right behind my Intake Manifold. I am making a custom braket, but my question is, will it be safe there? Do you think I will get too hot and cause a problem?

This is a great machine for the money. Hobart 140 with gas upgrade. Biggest and baddest you can get that runs on 110v. Perfect for just about any automotive application. Minus roll bars and cages. I personally have one of these for my portable unit. Very smooth and good running machine for the money. Light years ahead of Harbor Freight and Home Depot units.

Absolutely right. Gasless is mainly good for outdoor applications.

I am so drained from this tuck, that I am trying every possible way to save Money
I guess you can message me and tell me what you have.
But again, if I can keep my stock ful filter and mount it else where and save money then that's what I will do. HOWEVER, if it's going to cause a problem then it looks like I have no choice but to spend the money.

My question has not been answered yet! LOL
THeline going to the charcoal canster in the bay runs all the way back to the gas tank. From what I've been reading, that's just for fumes and emmisions. Toward the rear of the tank I was able to disconnect the line through there. can I leave it like that?

You could always use it to get the job done and sell it when finished.
