The way you covered up your plate it looks like it says buttsex.
. Floss works well to get them off, the ideal way to cover up the holes would be to weld them shut.

you can do a few things actually...most will require re-painting the area. you can use fiberglass and bondo to fill the hole (this is how i have filled spoiler holes in a trunk) or you can weld in new metal over the holes.

so what? I was just telling him another way that might easier than using a hair dryer...wth is your problem...
i used fiberglass ion the inside, bondo'd over the holes, and used colour-match paint for now until i get all my body work done and get a new paint job 
though i'm removing that, and i've got soe aluminum sheet metal + jb weld, and gonna replace the fiberglass with that, then use aluminum filler to cover the whole instead of bondo..
probably won't be until next spring when it's warmer, so i won't know how well it works until then
of course, ideally, you would want it welded properly.. but to me, that costs too much
