I'm just saying it's possible. Those are also scattered all over the country.

Also, $25k is alot of money for a 14 year old honda no matter what it is.

Paid for by me </TD></TR></TABLE>

I could've bought a (used) NSX awhile ago. I spent the money on an Rx7 instead though.

Was it comfortable? Did you feel at all closterphobic with the engine right behind you? I typically like a lot of space behind me (for example rear seats/hatch in an integra) but may be making the move to an NSX myself.

Is this your daily driver also?

These cheap NSX's are primarily 1991 and 1992 models; these are the years that are prone to transmission failure, which (now that the cars are obviously out of warrenty) is quite an expense - the 1993+ cars are outside of the 'slip ring failure' range, and also feature a passenger-side airbag, slightly improved tire wear, R134a A/C, and cup holders - the 1994 cars had the option of tan for the interior.

In 1995 the cars were switched to Targas, and I could not afford a NA2, so I was in the market for a 1993/1994 car, preferably a 1994 red/tan NSX - there is only one problem: only about 35 of these cars, with a 5spd, are in the United States.

I challange you to find a clean 1993/1994 NSX, with records, with a complete service history, with a clean title, and with less than 100k miles, under $30k - it is easy to find a 1991 car, in slip ring range, that needs a $2k timing belt and $2500 clutch service for under $25k, but buying such a car would also not be the best of decisions.

As far as what I paid... I bought the car for what I felt was a good price, and I am happy with my purchase - I have not disclosed the amount I paid, and do not intend to.

In response to some of the above posts... this is not my father's car, it is mine - I bought it, with money I earned personally, and I pay for all related expenses (eg gas, insurance, etc.) - it is my daily driver, and it made the nearly cross-country journey without a hiccup.

congratulations on a beatiful car. If there would be one car i would have no budget for to buy would be an nsx. It has been my dream car for a long time, and if i was in the market, i would definitely buy an nsx without a doubt.

The only car in the 35 to 45k range which is over 10 years old that still looks amazing.

Congratulations and i hope you take good care of it.
Iam very jealous

Who the hell pays $45k for an RX-7? Or even for a supra that doesn't ahve like 2k miles on it.

Besides that, 15 year old supras and RX7's are Mk3's and FC's, if you get technical about the years.

No need to disclose how much you paid. We can figure it out from here: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums...50281

IMO, not worth it as I've seen much better deals on Prime, but to each their own.

thats far enough from 32 grand for me to use as an example AND half the mileage you claim a car like this would be going for at approximately the same price.

I'm half-heart idly shopping for one as well.

there's a few right there.

here's a 91 with 90k miles ( still a FAR cry from 150,000) he was asking 27,500 or best offer and i'm sure he'd have taken 25,000.

Right. So 30k is pretty much the cheapest you can get a good condition 14 year old NSX for.
Thats not cheap by any means. You can get a brand new vette for the price of a 9 year old NSX... You can get a brand new 06 TSX for the price of a 14 year old NSX...

uhh..did you even bother to see this link?

91 with 90k miles.. 27,500 or best offer.

sure you can get a brand new vette..and i'm not taking anything away from that magnificent car..but i see a few of those every day and i live in rural PA. i'd take an nsx over a lot of things..probably a Z06, as well. just the sheer novelty of it alone justifies the prime IMO.

are you trying to argue how the NSX isnt worth it? i mean you said you're buying one..so dont..and pick up a brand new TSX.
