Re: Opinions on 17's (Racer X)
i *use* to think 17 were perfect for integras (still kinda do) but had to decided between speed or looks...then i saw a red teg with Volk TE-37's in 16...and it looked good so 16's are fine..for looks..tires are cheeper..wheels are cheeper..performs better...

unless you have a body kit or plan on getting a body kit, i wouldnt suggest 17's. they make a teg look too big/high no matter how low you try and drop it. i would never go bigger than 16's

Re: Opinions on 17's (Racer X)
is this your daily driver?
how are the roads around the way?
are your front tires wasting from the inside edge?
if right now you feel the bumps forget about later w/17s
ingalls kit not enough to correct camber need more kits from skunk
so good luck w/choice

Re: Opinions on 17's (FRANCISCO FLORES)
i chose 15's to avoid rubbing to keep the weight down and to save on tires, i prefer 16s over 17s but somehow i dont think that my 15 look that bad

I have 17's now....
I'll be ordering 15's at the end of the week.
Gonna sell my 17" rims after the 15" are mounted...probably ebay if no one here buys them.

not a teg but still a honda, these are 17's, you cannot get a better fitting size for the well than a 17.

Re: Opinions on 17's (Racer X)
I just happen to have a set of 17x7" white Motegi MR4's for sale. The lug pattern is 5x114.3. They came off of my 97 Prelude. I have only driven on the for about 6 months. The tires are Nitto's and have about 75% tread left on them. I am selling them because I was to buy larger wheels. I am looking to get $800 for the wheels and tires. If you need any more info or pics you can email me.

17s are nice for 2002+ civics
for 00and below i dont like 17s
for integras i like 16s
for HBs 15s are nice maybe an occasional 16
id never put 17s on an EG or EK

Re: Opinions on 17's (TypeOne Enjoy It)
whether 17"s should go on any car is a matter of personal preference, and i would venture to say that many of the people who complain about performance losses on 17" rims are people who dont have the driving skills to even notice. in terms of power loss, we pay $500+ for catback exhaust systems on otherwise stock cars. they hardly give any performance gains... nuff said.
here are 2 integras that are *IMO* aesthetically stunning... and i love the fact that they are on 17"s.

Re: Opinions on 17's
Those SE-37's are dope. i wanted them before too, and i still might want them. they're just my size too. 17s on that car fit just right.

Re: Opinions on 17's (CWESTINDC2)
I had 17's on my car for about a year. The look of 17s on an EK is nice as hell, but it's really not too practical..... I sold them a couple months ago. The difference in accceleration and gas mileage is definately noticeable. I say you should go for some 15's, or at the most, 16's....
That's just me though, I'm tired of the big rims look.... or any looks really for that matter.... function has to follow form now, I gotta save pennies everywhere possible, and tires for 15's are hella cheaper than for 17's.
If you really want 17s though, go for it.... they look ****** good as hell, they just cost a lot, get scraped up easier, and **** your gas mileage and speedometer.
