my 96 civic on ebay coilovers, very bad ride, but sometimes you have to sacrafice one thing for another lol

 

if your ebay coils ride like ****, this is probably why:



i removed those useless 'tophats' and the ride improved drastically.. and i could go way lower..

 

i dont use those things lol
it dont look like my car is that low in the pictures, but it is only about 2 or 3 inchess off the ground

 

anybody have a picture of a 92-95 hatchback with stock wheels and ebay sleeves only drop ?

i rode ebay sleeves for a while... then switched to s techs...

 

i had arospeed on my old integra LS gayest **** ever..and i paired them with hp blues the ride was a joke...if i hit the slightest bump it was like a trampoline effect..sometimes i would hit my head on the headliner i would be bouncing so bad..it actually got to the point where i would avoid certain roads because the bouncing was just so bad...please dont buy cheap suspension u will look like a fukin ricer and the bouncing is EXTREMELY annoying and laughable glad i learned my lesson.

 

Rode fine at this height, any lower and it was a bounce house.



All the way down, stock shocks as well as the EJ8.

 

kinda of ashamed to post pics of my old beater car got dirt cheap when i was laid-off....had ebay coilovers that looked like ground controls on stock struts front all the way down, rear 1" to go.

Agree, I bought cheap coils back in the day with my first "ride". People on the street use to imitate me bouncing all over the place. Lesson#1: you get what you pay for.

 

anyone have experience with skunk2 full coilovers? i was going to get these but wasting almost 800 dollars and having a bouncy ride is not something that appeals to me so i was going to stick with the eibach sportline kit plus for like 450...

my buddies been rockin ebay coilovers on his prelude for like 3 years the only thing i could recomend is getting aftermarket shocks cause they will blow out your shocks over some time

Those are O rings. Its to hold the coilover sleeves in place just in case its loose(if the shocks are thin).

I got kyb shocks koni struts and skunk2 lowering springs now. Considering cheaping out and buying a pair of ebay sleeves to dump my car. With the upgraded suspension I heard lower you go less bounce they create. Anyway. What's all your .02 on my set up now with ebay sleeves? Go or no

 

I didn't know honda-tech was only for Rich kids who are fed with a silver spoon to purchase $1200 suspension. Some of us are less fortunate and have to make do with what we got :p For a little while at least, until we save up.
