I'm sure it can still be done...all it takes is a little ingenuity.

You can make it work. Good luck.

Well, I bought one...it looked like *** and fit like ***. Not sayin' that all of them are shitty. So I went ahead and scrapped it and went the DIY route. I'm happy with the new look. Although the paint isn't holding up very well. I got owned by a semi-truck on one of the passes here in Montana. I was gonna pass these two semis, so I'm going to pass. Just as I get up to the rear truck the numb nutz decides to pass the semi in front of him. He didn't even signal. Since the road was going over one of the passes, it had sand all over it, because it has already snowed up there. As the truck cut in front of me, it was like a hail of machine gun fire. My poor car was most definately wounded, but not unable to go on. After the semi passed the other semi, I got up some speed 90 mph +....impressive for my little d16y7 going up a steep incline....and passed both trucks making sure to cut off the truck in front. I would have given him the finger, but I was driving with my mom to go visit some relatives. I'll post a pic in a few.

Semi Trucks

My DIY CTR style grill is in the process right now. I would also like to know where to ge the expanded metal.

BTW, I have an EX. I found a 2 piece grill for like $5 and now cleaning it up to get paint matched.
