Re: Krylon Stained Glass Paint (blowoff23)
I did it with my 96-98 square fogs. It looked ok at first, but after driving with them for a while, I noticed there were rock chips and it got duller and became less yellow. Best bet is to just get some yellow bulbs if you want the yellow light output.

i didnt paint headlights or fogs, however i did paint my corners on my del sol...
and i did 3-4 coats w/ clear and still looks great after a yr...
but i would imagine headlights would fade pretty quickly, fogs might last a little longer but eventually fade....
and my guess is yes it would affect how bright they are....
if you want it yellow buy the yellow tint film or jus get yellow headlights

Get the lamin-x.. not only is it easier, it serves as a dual purpose to protect your foglights. Anyone who drives a lowered car a lot has probably experienced having fog lights get rock chips. Personally, I had 3 separate lenses get cracked before I started using lamin-x. It's been almost a year now, and they show no signs of damage whatsoever

Glad I found this post I just made the front lights for my car last night using VW side markers. It looks pretty good but I think they shoudl be tinted. I got the clear led but they are very bright.
Try a light smoke tint I think.
