try paint stripper , just spread it on and let it sit a few minutes. should wipe right off. Make sure you have all the gaskets off though , probably not to good for them.

"Aircraft" paint stripper.. I think it was at Kragen/Autozone.

This stuff works really well.

Spray it on, let it sit a few minutes, and then wipe/scrape the paint off.. just dont get it on your hands...

No need to wipe or scrape, just hit it with the water hose

Yeah, when I said scrape, I just was thinking of when I did mine, and I used a putty knife to kinda "push" a bunch of the released paint off of the valvecover. I used a hose later, but I got the big flat spots clear with a rag and the putty knife.

That stuff is killer, I still have a patch of dead grass from where I used it roughly a month ago, and it probably took less than 4 minutes to eat through my rubber gloves

will this aircraft stuff clean up rims that have been painted, and bring them back to original-ness or or will they get damaged?
