I'm about 3 1/2" lower in the front and about 3" in the rear. Drivers side front is 1/4" higher for better balance when I'm in the car. Level settin 18 f/r right now, but I think I'm gonna soften up the rear a tad.
F2 get's an A++++ from me
I don't know if f2 is much better than f1, but I think I would have to disagree as far as the ride. Dont get me wrong, they look pimp, you can slam the **** out of your car, but the ride is not the greatest. I don't know if I got the right settings, I'm no expert but I think my skunks on kybs were better than the f1, that's my honest opinion. When you guys say A+++ for these, do you guys have pot holes or crappy roads in your area, because here in Hawaii the roads are crap. Let me know...
I'm usually pretty critical of of the newer stand-up companies like F&F, K-Sport, and the others. It seems as if 80% of the users of these systems have nothing but positive things to say, but the fact remains that many of these users have never had a chance to experience other systems on their cars. There are users that swear by their set-ups, but in reality, what feels right to some may not feel right to another. Ideally, it would be great if we could all "test-drive" several suspension systems prior to making the final decision. But this is the real world and we just don't have that luxury. Now, I have owned Omni streets which I can honestly say are junk, and I'm currently on Skunk2 Pro Series full coilovers, and they are almost as bad as the Omni's. I've given these companies the benefit of the doubt and quite frankly, they have fallen short of my expectations. I based my decision to buy those set-ups on feedback I had read on these forums, and both times it ended up not working out. That being said, I cannot justify spending over $1500 on a coilover set-up for my daily driven car. the Tein Flex, the Cusco Zero's, and the Zeal set-ups are supposedly incredible on the track, but since my car never sees track time, I feel as if I'd be throwing money away.
The Function & Form system, as with with K-Sports, and the Omni's, seems to be engineered for the street, given the relatively short shock body and piston length. It's safe to assume that these will perform better on the street than the more expensive track derived systems. It looks to be designed well and the build quality looks excellent. I still, however, have my doubts, because no one really knows where they are made or what kind of quality goes into the craftsmanship of these coilovers. For all we know, the F&F and the rest of the sub-$1000 coilovers systems could all be manufactured in the same factory and marketed as individual companies. I can rant all day about my personal feelings about suspension companies, but the truth is, I'll probably ****-can my Skunk2's and give the Function and Form Type II a shot.

the type 2's are NOT renamed coilovers like some have may have heard.
i have my share of different set ups i have been thru over the years.. on my current S2K i have had Buddy Club Racing Spec coil overs and now type 2 F2's.
between the 2 the over all balance and feel of the car has made me happier then ever before...
my on civic i have done even more...
Tein HA's wth extended top hats
Takico blues on skunk coilovers
koni yellows on skunk coilovers
F2 type 2's...
i was made happy with the type 2's over all my prior set ups....
and again you CAN NOT beat the fact that these are REBUILDABLE and come with the 1 year warrenty..
people need to remember to get alignments done when they change their suspension to get the most out of car and play with settings.. im sure 90% just throw it on set it to desired height and drive away without ever getting a alignment done....
for type 2's

i know that probably doesnt help you but when your ready for an upgrade let me know.
And for the original poster if money isnt the issue get the TYPE II SWIFT springs edition with custom rates...

I am gonna be selling my DC2 come spring time and probably replacing it with a DC5 ('05 - '06 Type S) and coilovers will be the first thing on my list of things to do.
I was wondering if and when the Type II's may be available for the DC5?
