Default EM1 Major tune-up

I had the opportunity to pick up a 99 Civic Si and decided to jump on it. I didn't think i'd ever jump back into my former stomping grounds but the EM1 has always been a favorite of mine so it wasn't a hard decision to make.

I hate buying a car without knowing its history and considering it's milage i decided not to gamble and had a major tune up done at my mechanics. I had all my belts, seals and gaskets replaced with original OEM honda. OEM Water pump, thermostat and fuel filter replaced. Mobile1 Oil, Oil filter, Synchromesh tranny fluid, radiator flush and a/c recharge.... NGK cap/rotor, plugs and wires... couple bolts here and there were missing so i had those replaced as well. valves were adjusted and everything was tightened up...

The car came with some 17" pepboy wheels which will eventually be replaced but as it stood it looked like a freakin' 4x4 so for the time being i had S-Tech's installed as well.

Anyway... it was a night and day difference after all was said and done... couldn't be happier with the car and am comfortable knowing i won't have any headaches anytime soon. Here are the pics.

All comments welcome.... ***Buddy Club P1 SF*** on the way.

it was concerning to me at first knowing that these cars are stolen at an alarming rate, especially here in southern california. im not sure if it will bite me in the butt but if it does i have the receipt of it's purchase and where it was purchased from. hopefully it would be sufficient.

thanks for the comments fellas.

dont get pulled over they will impound your car. my friends buddy had his integra impounded for the same reason and he got a fine and made him take the tranny off at the impound.

Nice pickup! I don't think those wheels look too bad, but the drop made the car look alot better.
