I lost my driver's license a year ago because of the police! During this time period I purchased a 1992 Civic HB with a blown motor. For some stupid reason I registered my car without insurance. No I am about to face futher consequences from the DMV. I have heard rumors that I am going to face a $500 fine, another one was I will face $500 for every month I did not have insurance on the car, and finally, I heard I will have my driver's license suspended for 2 months! Well, the car is currently on jack stands, without tires and I have not driven it an inch because the motor is blown. Can I do anything to get out of this? Thanks

Wrong forum but I'll try to help answer your question. I personally have had my license revoked for too many speeding tickets. I was still driving at that time and my insurance had long been expired. One day I got into an accident and said I'm fucked. Well I wasn't fucked too bad. Since the accident wasn't my fault the other kids insurance covered it. Although I did have my license suspended for an additional 2 years. I don't remember paying any fines, but if I did, $500 bucks seems about right, to the court that is. I am currently driving with a license again. You say you lost your drivers license a year ago, but how can you get it suspended if you don't have it? Anyways those rumors aren't true about the $500 a month fine from the DMV, at least I don't think they are. Oh and did you really lose your license because of the police, I think it may be because of you. Good luck on the issue, as I do not think there is a way you can prevent further suspension of your drivers license. By the way, welcome to Honda-Tech.
