It's because everyone on H-T is anti anything american made. anything not originated in japan can't be any good right

How many Camaros run at least high 9's? A lot. How many EVOs make 1000awhp? Not so many. Show me someone who isnt impressed with a 1000whp Camaro and i'll show you someone who isnt into performance cars. It doesnt matter what they run in the quarter anyway because that EVO would run WAY better than high 9's with a decent chassis program. I'd say at least low 9's in street trim is possible with a GOOD CHASSIS/DRIVETRAIN SETUP.
Me personally i love Camaro's or any type of car if done right so no hate here, i grew up in a muscle car loving household. You cant expect the majority of people on an import biased site to like domestics though. Most kids who own imports are rookies to performance and just show blind hatred towards anything domestic. I mean everyones entitled to their opinion but you gotta give respect where its due IMO.

i think its kind of cool. yet at the same time stupid. all the times i seen this thing go down the track it goes for the wall, the center, the wall, and the driver is in and out of it so many times. they should have gotten 600hp learn to drive the car. 700hp learn to drive the car.
i would rather take an ls1 camaro over the evo, why for a fact i bet you can break into the high 9's with a turbo on a stock motor. i dont go to ls1tech.com, but fox body mustangs are running low to mid 10's on completely bone stock tired out motors with a 70-76mm tubro at around 15ish psi. so im sure the maro can hit a 9.99 with just a turbo kit in the engine bay.

agreed that ams is the best builder for evo....if i got the cash i will send my evo to the US and ask them to build my evo...its either them...or norris design who build 900hp evo to play in the circuit...damn
