Hello Andrew, I have an 04 Accord EX. Airbag light came on the vehicle. Went to a Honda dealer. He scanned and told two error codes: 31-10 (Open in Driver airbag) and 71-10 (Open in Driver seat position). After further inspections, they said that the vehicle floor wire harness is faulty and need to be replaced. They gave me a quote of $1200.

Need your help to find an answer for:
1. Are these error codes too serious? Due to this, Will there be any issue in Airbags to blow out in case of accident?
2. How Critical is this wire harness? Do I need to replace this for sure?
3. Is the quote $1200 reasonable for this work?

Please advise.
