Slight clunking driver's rear - 07 Accord V6
My girlfriend's car has an odd clunking/rattling in the driver's rear area. Most noticeable over bumps.
Doesn't sound metallic but I haven't had a chance to take off the wheel and see if like a swaybar endlink is busted. I tightened the spare tire just to make sure it wasn't that too.
Not temperature sensitive
Doesn't seem to be any worse around turns than straight
I would almost say it sounded like the tophat banging around but I need to check it.
Anyone have ideas or other places to start looking? The other location I thought of was possibly the rear speaker deck.

TheMuffinMan,
Besides the sway bar end links, I would advise checking out the sway bar bushing (ref#6 in the diagram below) and bracket (ref #12 in the diagram below). Additionally, inspect the lower shock absorber bushing to ensure that it isn't worn or misaligned. I have heard of cases in which this bushing became worn and thereby caused a clunking noise similar to what you have described.
Good luck man!

if it's coming from the trunk area... it may be the tension bar that is mounted on the trunk lid itself(at least on the 08+)
these have been a bane of sound on that 8th gen and may be your issue also. the normal fix is to stuff a piece of foam between them to dampen the clunking(doesn't affect operations)
