Default Newbie Suspension Question

Hi All,

I just bought a 2008 Accord EX V6 and I'm loving it so far. I would, however, like to "sport" up the suspension without having to lower the car too much. Doable?

So, does the car have to be significantly lowered to gain better than marginal performance? I just want something a little better than what's available from stock.

When Koni come out with the adjustable shocks this summer , you can turn that puppy to stiff.

Is there a HFP kit for these year Accords? I think there is for the coupe, not sure on the sedan though. That would be a minimal ride height change with a bit stiffer of a setup.

you are correct... HPF/OEM kit was about the first offering anywhere. Tein has some offerings(threaded body ride height adjustable) and I guess Koni has some off the shelf units now.

The HFP is only for coupes. However, many use the Coupe AT version on the sedan due to he heavier body weight. And it works fine.

IMO, HFP (on sedan) rear is a bit too low. Probably due to the slight difference in (rear) weight.

If you are really picky about the stance you want, HFP may not be a good option. Again, many feel it's fine, just not for me.

Does anyone have any experience with these Koni's or any other dampener/spring? Also, on the Koni's, what's the difference between the Sport and the FSD's for the Accord?
