Are the Navigation DVDs Interchangeable?

I have a 04 and my friend has an 08. I'm having problems and I'd like to switch the cd from his 08 to see if it works. Would I be able to switch back?

NO! The dvds are not interchangeable....If you put his in and the system updates you have to keep his disc.

If you don't mind throwing down $250 for an update dvd then try your friends. I you really want an update the call honda price one out and get the correct disc. They are color coded yours is an orange one. The latest update is 3.A0. You friends dvd is white and is not compatible. I suggest not trying to install it. See attached doc.
