2006 Accord with Manual AC... when the AC is turned on inside the vehicle and the compressor engages, the vehicle shakes. Idle speed does not seem to change. I understand that the compressor running is going to cause some load on the engine, but this is more of a harsh shaking that is certainly quite noticeable. Does anyone know if perhaps Honda had a TSB regarding this?

No bulletins for that. With the car off and cold reach down to the a/c compressor and see if you can turn the outside plate by hand. It should rock back and forth with a little resistance and once you hit a compression cycle it will have resistance. Before you hit that resistance point it shouldn't take any muscle to make it turn. If you have to force it to move the compressor is starting to lock up and the car probably has black death.
