Lowered my Accord - Shaking While Accelerating
For guys out there with lowered Accords,
My car has been shaking in 2nd-3rd gears (during acceleration) ever since I got it lowered on MEGAN Coilovers.
I just had a very reputable shop inspect my coilover installation and camber kit, and they said everything looked fine - they didn't get a chance to drive the car.
The shop says it could be an issue with the driveshafts or cv joints. the car only has 25,000 miles on it though.
The shaking has not gone away, and now I'm starting to think it could be one of these issues:
-CV Joints
-Driveshaft
-Wheel bearings
I was reading about how some guys with S2K's were having this problem, and the solution turned out to be a driveshaft spacer.
Anybody else had this problem with their 8th gen accord?
Any help is appreciated!!

This can be caused by almost anything involved with the suspension.it comes with lowering any car.. your particular problem SOUNDS like the CV axles(shaking while accelerating in low gears)
Without being there, its tough to say what it could be..
I've been told by fcm that you should loosen and retighten things like ball joints and control arms after lowering a car.it helped me when I was toeing out after lowering my teg, maybe you should try it..good luck!

Re: Lowered my Accord - Shaking While Accelerating
I had been dealing with that since i lowered my 7gen Accord on Coilovers. The Problem was my axles. I replaced the passenger side and that stopped the worst of it. We are replacing the driver side today and im sure its going to stop the rest of the shaking. From all my past cars once i lowered them they shock accelerating. Axle replacement always fixed it.
