Default Lossing power in Rain

I have a 2003 Honda Accord Lx, lately it has the tendency to briefly loss power when it rains. It usually happen when I slow to turn. it doesn't stop completely, but the battery light comes on and the steering locks, then it goes back to normal. What can be causing this?

Sounds like a grounding issue. Check for loose grounds maybe?

Sounds like an idle issue. Get a can of brake cleaner(or throttle body cleaner if you must) and clean out the throttle body.....

Why would that be the issue? If his car shuts up in the rain, id look for grounds 1st. He isnt sucking in water or else he would hydrolock..unless im missing something else

Its happening in the rain because it is cold and the carbon build up in the TB is much more dense. The vehicle is dying under a load when the rpms are low(driving slow).

When the rpms(and consequently, airflow) are low, it is the idle valves' job to keep the car running. But it cannot do its job if airflow is restricted. This is a common occurrence.

Of course Im just speculating on the interweb, could damn well be anything. But it takes all of 10-15 mins to clean out the TB and eliminate it as the fault.....

I'd agree on checking/doing both suggestions.

My question to the OP - are you running a stock/OE intake or do you have some aftermarket intake?
