Default h22 idle issues

So my swap has been in and running for over a year now and has been perfect. I installed the blacktrax style spacer for the plenum, new gaskets, gasket sealer, etc. Put it all back together and now I have a pretty weird idle right at start up.

Right as I turn the key it fires up quick to 2k and then within a second drops to around 400 and bounces to 600 for a few seconds. Then slowly raises back up to 2k and comes back down and idles perfect.

I replaced the IACV and tightened up the FIV. Vacuum lines are good, coolant is good, plenum spacer is sealed up. I've just run out of ideas to why its acting so weird. I dont want to mess with the idle screw cause I know its not that, it hasnt moved. Neither has the TPS. What do you guys think?

What computer (ECU) are you using? Have you reset it? (Disconnect battery for a few minutes, reconnect and start)

P13. Yea I reset it by pulling the ecu fuse when it was warm. Waiting 5 minutes. Running it at idle for 5 minutes.

Check your dizzy/cap, check your grounds and I would recommend getting a p06 or a p28 and chpping and tuning your car. And the spacer does nothing for performance so I would probably get rid of that...just my opinion. GL

I had a spacer on my f22a6 with an h23 plenum and it was awesome. Definately made some power.

Same on the h22.

It dyno'd 5 hp 5 tq. How is that not making any power?

I might be mistaken, I was thinking of a TB spacer, but that's not what you're speaking of, right?

Anyways, have you checked your dizzy/cap for the idle issue?

Yea i know that TB spacers are useless on these motors.

I havent checked my dizzy yet. But Im thinking I may have narrowed my problem down. When I tightened up my FIV I think I might have tighten too much. Ive heard a few people saying you should tighten it and then back it off just a touch.

It could very well be that, I've also had the same problem with my h22 before.
