Grease for brake calliper pins?
What kind of grease would you experts recommend for the slide pins on the brake callipers? Honda's grease? Multipurpose grease? What? Thanks

I do mine at a friend's Acura dealership so I use Acura grease, which is literally same thing as the Honda stuff.

I've used a few different things.
Often "multipurpose grease" is OK for those temperatures.
AutoZone-type places have "Brake Grease".
I've even used anti-seize compound & that worked OK but dried out sooner.

Thanks guys. I used multipurpose grease, and was wondering if it could cause a problem.

Did you replace your stock brakes with aftermarket ones? Or are you just cleaning your existing ones? I'm curious because there have been problems with some aftermarket pads and rotors.

All I did was change the pads (with new oem), and make sure the pins were lubed up good. The rears were pretty worn down (at 47k miles), but the fronts still have probably 10k miles left in them. Why these cars wear out the rear before the front, I don't know. Seems odd to me.
