G8 LX-V6 Sedan
The only way to get a V6 in a new Accord would be EX or higher.
Just wondering if anyone would be fans of a V6 LX if Honda made one?
Gen 6 was the last time Honda made a V6 LX. Some choose it because they wanted the extra headroom (without the sunroof). I like it because of that base level "all-motor" car feel.

Re: G8 LX-V6 Sedan
There was a 7th-generation LX V6. It sold very poorly, but it's difficult to determine whether sales were low due to customers not wanting them or due to dealers not ordering them or having them available on the lots.
The new 8th-generation EX V6 (with cloth upholstery) is intended to fill in for the dropped LX V6 trim, while the EX-L V6 is essentially the same car sold in previous generations as the EX V6 (or "EXVL" in some references).
Don't read too much into the actual letter designations; look instead at the equipment offered at each trim level. For some unknown reason, Honda has been screwing around with the letter designations for the current Accord generation. They dropped the base DX trim - leaving the LX as the most basic model - and then they slotted in the LX-P/LX-S where the LX previously fit.
