To all Honda owners with a warranty
Has anyone heard of the class action with Honda regarding false odometer readings? If not check it out HERE.
I went to a Honda dealership to transfer the warranty into my name and thats how I found out. It's not much really (instead of 100,000 it's now 105,000). Any little bit helps.
TO ALL HAH OWNERS: I though this part was cool, the manager Dublin Honda informed me that my IMA batteries are under warranty for 10 years and 150,000 miles. I was damn near floored when he said that. I'll be receiving information about my warranty but I'll be looking more into what exactly does the 150k cover as far as the batteries.

In a Junkyard near you.

See that's the funny thing with this. Honda is usually pretty good with helping good customers out. But now that this class action suit is in place at 105,001 or at 41,001 miles you're out of warranty. Whereas before you could get up to 5K miles grace period (or more) if you were a good customer.

So it would push all warranty periods back.
I'm not sure if there was an exact calculations or %, but I would imagine the gap being wider the more miles one rack up.
I theory, it should hurt the resale value because the car is showing more miles than it actually have.
GLD's solution, get bigger wheels (a bit taller overall) FTW .

wow really? So if your car is almost up better just tow it to honda instead of drive it or else you have that 1 extra miles and it is game over.

Re: To all Honda owners with a warranty
I remeber when this came out...cars coming in left and right about it...i was doing so many warr repairs that i never herd of...just watch out tho for these extened warranty "companies". my grandmother got ripped buy em. she kept thinking it was honda contacting her about an extended warranty. Honda will never contact you directly regarding the warranty over the phone, from what i was told by my manager. Honda only does Mail. 3 years 36,000 miles..
