I've had a strange problem for a while with my headlight switch on my 2012 Honda Accord EXL and I'm wondering if anyone has come across something similar.

I am able to turn my headlights on or off ok, but the following weird things happen.

1. Even when I turn the headlight switch to the off position, the dashboard light showing that my headlights are on remains lit. The car thinks the headlights are on when they're not.
2. When I set the headlight switch to automatic headlights (Where they come on at low light levels) the lights never come on no matter how dark it is.
3. When I open the driver door, whether I have the lights on or off, I get the headlight warning beep. I generally keep the lights in the on position and they do turn off automatically after I stop the engine and lock the car.

Could it be something with the combo switch that I might be able to fix myself? e.g. by opening and cleaning the connections. Or could it be something like a blown fuse?
