2012 accord starter hangs for a sec at startup.

2012 accord starter hangs for a sec at startup.
Right at startup the starter stays engaged for a sec or so. Figured it's a bad starter but wanted to ask the experts. Nothing else wrong starts right up but this is a repetitive issue.
