2010 Honda Accord and after market starter
Replaced starter(aftermarket) 8 weeks ago. After about 4 weeks the car would start perfect when it was cold and then when it was warm is would be slow to crank. It would still crank but very slow. Took it to a local shop and he replaced the crankshaft sensor, car started running rough. Ended up taking it to the Honda service department and they are telling me it is because the aftermarket starter crankshaft sensor are not communicating with the computer and want $1000.00 to replace the starter and crankshaft sensor? My question why do they sell aftermarket parts if they cannot be put onto the car?

Aftermarket parts can work, the parts may have been poor quality. You probably should go back to the other mechanic(s) regarding the failure of those parts to see if they warrantied their work and/or parts.

I would tow the vehicle to another shop. Try google or Yelp.
