Hi,

I wanted to know if the 2008 Accord sedan seats are the same width as the coupe? I made the mistake with the '04 Accord by purchasing the coupe and then after a few weeks I had to return it, (ah) because the seat was to narrow (between the middle of my back) and it was killing me.
It's hard to tell on a test drive, as I have done already on the '08. The spec.'s on the site are confusing. The "shoulder" room on the Sedan is 58.2 but on the coupe it's 58.4. Shouldn't the coupe be smaller? I'm not sure if they are talking about the room between the drivers side seat and the passenger side seat or not..??

Does anyone know the answer?

I think a test drive is the only way to tell if the car, or more importantly the seats, are right for you. All the measurements in the world are not going to tell you if a seat is designed well and complacent to your frame.
