I have a 2007 accord sedan that i inherited with only 50k miles and when i say mint condition, i mean mint condition. I need a 4 door as i have kids and I have been very excited to build my first k series. I jumped right in thinking that like my previous b series builds, it would be pretty straight forward as far as compatability is concerned. I purchased and k20z3 head as well as an rsk type s 6 speed trans and everything needed for the auto to manual swap. I had plans to turbo the car and have a fun daily driver with *****, and oh how i miss my boosted LSVTEC EG. I picked out my aspiring setup and then last night decided to start looking into the Ho data KPro as I have experience and great respect and trust in Hondata's s300. I emailed Hondata and told them my setup and future goals and asked them about kpro and flashpro. I was told there is not a platform compatible with my car.. i am lost, i dont trust piggy back systems, and dont trust myself to have to cut factory harnesses to wire up some other more universal stand alone systems. Has anyone every boosted an accord with a k24, and how did they do it, also has anyone here ever changed the IVTEC head for the z3 head with dual cam VTEC and is that computer controlled as well? I need help, ive fallen in love with the car and i have the looks where i want, i need the performance, please someone has to have some info or has had to try this sort of application before, ive seen plenty pictures of boosted accord 2.4L iVTEC's, i know it can be done, but i want reliability.
