2005 Hybrid Accord in General
As I approach 500K on my 92 Accord, I feel the need for a second accord to drive sometimes too.
What are the general pros/cons of a 2005-2007 hybrid? I have searched the internet and only found one-day driver reviews, or new-car reviews. I really want to know how these cars fare after a few years, or longer... including all possible repair/replacement stuff. My goal for it would be 300K, at least.
I don't mind maintenance or wrenching on them, just don't want a lemon.
Anybody have any links, suggestions, opinions? I would really like to understand what I am getting into before I buy one.

Re: 2005 Hybrid Accord in General
300k will not likely be cheap on a hybrid.
As I understand the dual-engine and battery-pack design (I'll point out that I do only have a loose grip on the very detailed specifics), the likelyhood is somewhere around 8yrs you run into a need for a full electrical motor overhaul. This includes new batteries in some cases, which will set you back over $5k (this according to some reading I did on retrofitting the Prius all battery system). This is not overly difficult on a scale car, but I'm not sure how complex the wiring and access would be on a full sized car.
I would suggest checking with various Prius sites to see how long they are actually getting in terms of battery life. I suspect you can get better info there, and the cars are older, which should help.
My $0.02:
The best car to buy if you really are looking for a high-mileage vehicle would be a diesel motored car. Sadly in the US that really limits you to VW and Mercedes. This year Audi released the A3 in TDI... good for 60mpg when hypermiled... should last well past the 300k mark also.
