Default 17's to 19's: Would You?

Hi,

I have a 2008 Accord V6 sedan. I'm researching wheels and was considering going to 19 inches. There's a much wider selection in 19's and they seem to be right in the middle as 20's are +3; the highest I want to go. What do you all think. I live in the DC area. So snow would be a factor in my decision.

Thanks.

I think there are more selection in 20s than 19s. 19s are generally "foreign brand" sizes, where as 20s are more common accross the board. Therefore, 19s generally cost more in wheels and tires.

There are many that do 20s on their G8 Accord, but 19 is the largest I would go.

Oh, sure. I've seen lots of 20's that I could go with. But, that's +3 and I didn't want to go that high. 18's (+1) don't appear to be enough. My goal is increased road handling: more stability in turns and stops. I've read and heard that the smaller that profile is the better. Though, with a smaller profile, you feel bumps more.

Dude throw on some 20's. I put 3 piece chrome staggered Forgiato's on my '10 accord coupe. Changed the look and feel totally. Gives it more solid feeling on the road.

Could you send/post a photo of what those 20's look like? What's the new tire size vs the stock size?
