I finally found a coupe I liked for a fair price, so I picked it up (in Cali, a nice 9 hour drive ) last friday and am noticing some problems. I'll be taking it in to a Honda dealer to have them comb over the car anyway, but I wanted to get your thoughts on these issues.

The biggest problem I've found is that the moonroof doesn't work! Like an idiot, I forgot to check this out while I was buying the car. The switches aren't backlit at night like the TCC switch right next to it, so I figure it could be a power issue. I replaced the fuse today with no luck. Is it possible there's just a faulty power connector to the switch, or is it likely the motor is burnt out?

The second problem: I found was last night I couldn't roll down the windows! The buttons just didn't respond. About 10 minutes later the passenger side worked, but not the driver, and now they work again. What could be causing intermittent problems like this? I did hear what sounded like 'clicking' coming from the driver side and passenger side doors....very odd, not sure how to describe it, but it was very faint. The clicking happened on it's own, not when I was trying to roll the windows down. Not sure if that has anything to do with it...

Anyway, I was just curious if any of you had seen these issues before. I'm glad to finally join the ranks as a Honda owner; as long as this moonroof thing doesn't turn out to be too expensive

depending on the what else is goin wrong i have seen the multiplex cause weird problems like this.

I have never heard of those issues with my 2006 V-6 6sp. coupe.

I had a Honda dealer take a look at the car, and it turns out the moonroof motor was bad. There went $500 after labor to fix. The window master switch was also bad and had to be replaced. Oh well, at least I found out the tranny had already been fixed per the recall in '05.
