window problem

Default window problem

whats up..heres the deal..i got into my car yesterday and when i closed the door, the window dropped...instantly..i took the panel off and saw that i couldnt really get to the window. I tried to lift the window up and it stops after like 5 inches..what do you think happened and how much is it going to cost me..unless its an easy fix but it doesnt seem to be. thanks for the input appreciate it..oh yea 97 accord coupe..

Maybe the window glass came off of the regulator, but it sounds like a regulator problem. You would have to take it out, to be sure. They are pretty expensive for oem, you may be able to get one cheaper at Advance, or wherever. Here's a link for clarification. Item#s 3 & 12. Good luck with the fix.
