Default Driver window problem in 96

My driver's window would not roll up good and when it did, the window would slide out of the weather-stripping about halfway up. I bought a new regulator and window motor, but the window rolls up very slowly and overheats the motor. WHen I am going 50+ mph, the window will fall out of the weather-stripping. If I push the window towards the back of the car (forcing it to stay in the weather-stripping), rolls up like it should. What could be causes this "looseness" of the window that allows it to lend forward when rolling it up? Thanks

Sounds to me like it's no longer on the track. But as far as the window rolling up slowly... that's a common problem among 5th Generation Accords.

Just open up the door and take a look inside

i have the exact same problem on my 97 se so id like an answer as well.. some say the weather stripping just wears out so the window doesnt stay in it.. ive been honestly to lazy to purchase new stripping to try it out.. but id like some answers as well.

I have tooken the door panel all the way off, looked inside, cleaned the tracks, everything i could think of.. nothing works

You just need to replace the window track and lubricate it either with graphite (honda reccomended) or silicone spray

So could I just put silicone spray on the track I have now or is it too late? Are you talking about the track that is in the lower part of the door (door panel) or the part when the window is up?

In other words, on this page http://www.hondaautomotivepart...INDOW , what parts should I buy? 12 and 13?
