Who is running GM Sync mesh in their Accord?
I used to run it all the time when I was running a B series transmission and LOVED it. I have an 01 Accord EX and the shifts are a bit notch like and it just so happens that the car is due for a transmission fluid change. I want to run straight up GM Sync. mesh. or maybe even the Friction modified stuff. Has anyone with my generation accord ran it in their transmission?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Used to be there was a big difference between the Honda MTF and GMSFM, which made it very popular with the S2000 crowd. Since the re-formulation of the Honda fluid it is pretty similar in feel, at least in my S. I would expect similar results for your Accord.

I remember hearing about syncromesh back in my VW days. Anyone else care to chime in. I'd put this in my car is someone else has experience with it. Isn't there different weights of MTF?

I've heard that GM synchro is good in Hondas, but I use Amsoil Manual Synchromesh and... it is awesome. no grinding at all and better gas milage with amsoil
