Do you have a DX, LX or EX Accord?
If you have an EX, maybe someone swap the blocks for whatever reason? The previous owner maybe? Maybe someone messed up the original F22B1 block and swapped in the F22B2 block as a replacement. The stamping on the block would say F22B2 but the valve cover would says VTEC.
If you have a DX or LX, then maybe someone did a VTEC head swap?
IDK, just a thought.

or is the h22a swap just that good?</TD></TR></TABLE>
those gear ratios with an f22 will be crazy short and if you add a turbo, all you will get is wheel spin until maybe 3rd or 4th gear...save the money you would have spent on an h22 lsd motor, buy a phantom grip lsd for the stock transmission and get it installed (it's not the best lsd, but it does the job and does it well)...
i'd say you have quite a bit of research to do before you ever think about turboing a motor, though...start searching for posts regarding turbo f22's and go from there...

Maybe it was a f22b2 head + vtec valve cover? or something like that?</TD></TR></TABLE>
the valve covers are non interchangable...F22b1 have the spark plugs up front and F22b2 have em farther back
