I have an H22 In my Four door 92 civic and the vtec worked fine for three weeks but I just stopped working today can you tell me whats wrong.

well RuS. that was a really good post i am sure that is just what he was needing to help fix his problem. Ok RHEMU a few things to check would be the vtec solenoid and also check the oil level in your car. You may want to try the prelude forum for really technical H22 questions in the future but i understand why you posted here since a lot of accord drivers have H22s. I hope you can get it fixed man.

 

Yea VTEC runs off volumetric pressure of oil so check your oil level ... if youre low on oil then thats probably the reason VTEC is not engaging
