#1 Parts are plentiful and cheap (because its not popular), and available(aftermarket)
#2 Its lighter than the newer Accords.
#3 It can look nice.
#4 Its a perfect sleeper.

it's funny that new cars are getting back to the look and aerodynamics that Honda had perfected in 1994. This car (my car) fits right in anywhere you go it doesn't really look dated. but that doesn't matter because its the best accord ever! IMO.
I've never had any real problems with it. just good times!

I have a 96 4dr and love the body lines on it and every other accord from 94-97.
Maybe this is just me, but the 98-02 4dr looks like a toyota corolla or something, maybe a giant fishbowl driving down the road.
I don't get the styling cues that Honda put into that car at all.

CB7 love!! The CD5 has more options, but a lot of people have them. Plus there's just somethin about tracking down JDM parts for the CB7. Although very rewarding, it's difficult at times. For example, I'm on the hunt for a Mugen front grill with emblem... yeah wish me luck!!!
Moreover, that f22a is a nice torquy alternative to its sister SOHC D series motors. Then add a turbo and it'll just about blow your socks off! All this with 30 to 40 mpg, depending on how you drive it... LONG LIVE THE SOHC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lastly, the price!!! I'm picking up a 91 coupe, lowered, strut bars front and back, ram air intake, 5 speed and a fresh motor with only 50k on it for 900. Thats 1100 cheaper than I bought my last CD5 for with 249kmiles, automatic, and body dings.

Newer is better imo. Just cause when I think of being inside my car, then sitting inside of an older body style I know it would suck.
