v tec controller
i had just gotten h22 swap in my accord and i was thinking of getting a v tec controller .. but im not sure how my car can benefit from it .. does it actually make it accelerate faster ??? im really curious about the whole gadgit and if it really makes a noticeable differnce
a vtec controller will also allow you to change fuel maps and timing, as well as vtec engagement points. this means you'll be able to squeeze out a few more ponies, if its tuned properly
in a way, yes it can make you accelerate faster, IF DONE RIGHT...in most cases, the vtec controller is in the form of a VAFC or other similar unit...in this case, tuning should be performed on a dyno, where you can sort out the propper air fuel mixture for both reliability and optimum performance simultaneously...timing can also be adjusted with some of these units to increase performance...
