URGENT HELP!!! Car Shut Off - SRS Light Came on - Car Overheated.. WTF?!?!?!?
So I have been driving around all day, I have put about 300 miles on since this moring, and its about 115 out today, I was driving down the street by my house coming home, and my car shut off for a second, the SRS light came on, and then my car turned back on, WTF?!? So I pulled off the road, turned it off, waited a few mins, and turned it back on, it came on no problem, but as I was driving the rest of the way home, I had my AC on, and my car started to over heat, it went about 3/4ths way up the little thing, so I turned my AC off, and it went right back down..
I am getting ready to drive to cali tomorrow, what should I do?!?!
Any Suggestions? I am not sure what is wrong with it, is it just too hot to drive or what???!
EDIT
I just popped my hood, the coolant in my resivor tank was boiling!! Do you guys think my car just got too damn hot.

May be the alternator going out or the belt tension. The belt goes around the alternator pulley, A/C compressor pulley, and crankshaft pulley.

Re: (DankasCivic)
I just took it to my mechanic, and one of my radiator fans motor went out, and it was causing my engine to get way too hot, and there is something with my compressor that has to do with proper tension on the belt, so he is fixing it, replacing the fan motor, blade, and shroud, and cleaning everything up for only $130, I love my mechanic!!

What about the stalling? Ignition switch? Loose connection from battery? What did your mechanic say about that? And, you don't need to replace the blade and shroud if just the motor stopped working.

Re: (phootbag)
I got my fan fixed, it was 130 for the fan+labor (90 for the fan, $40 for an hour of labor) and then he also found why my car was dying, my ignition switch went out, we took it apart and it was burnt or something, so that was $50 for the part at BAP Imports and $40 for labor. Those anti tamper screws are a PITA!!
So now my car is running great!
