What direction does the crankshaft pulley turns if were u to facing the crankshaft pulley's bolt? Is this the same for all hondas? What would happen if u where to turn the crankshaft pulley in the opposite direction?

I think your supposed to rotate the pulley counter-clockwise. I believe the Helms says something about why not to turn the pulley the other way but I don't have my book with me and I can't think of it.

It's no longer the same for ALL hondas. You only want to turn the engine forwards, it's normal direction of rotation when it's running. If your drive pulleys are on the left side of the car, turn it counterclockwise.

The new engines (K-series) and I think all V-6 engines go the other way. Their drive pulleys are located on the right side, and they turn clockwise. Either way, they turn the same direction as the wheels do when you're driving forward.

If you turn it backwards, you risk skipping teeth on your timing belt. (I'm not sure if this messes up the timing chain tensioner on the K-engines??)

I have a 95 accord v6 and when inside the car facing the windshield, my pulley is on the right. So when facing my crank pulley, i'm suppose to turn it clockwise?

When driving forward, don't all wheels turn clockwise?

ok, I have a 95 EX with a F22B1 and my pulleys are on the left from the same orientation your speaking of and I turn my crank pulley counterclockwise, so yes turn your crankpulley clockwise.

Also, no. Not all wheels turn clockwise when driving forward. The passenger side wheels turn clockwise when going forward and the driver side wheels turn counterclockwise when going forward.

This internet thing happens in Japan & England where they drive on the wrong - um, I mean LEFT - side, so I try to say right & left sides of the car.

Geez, I didn't think it was this hard to figure out which way an engine spins.
