Starting Problems
This is a very broad problem but i want suggestions on what could cause this problem? When i start the car it has a hard time starting, it sounds like it is about to die but then it catches itself and starts up. This only happens when i am starting the car for the first time that day. I replaced plugs/wires and the distributor cap. I tested my battery and it is fine. What else could it be other then the starter itself?

That sounds like it has to go back to the battery, cables, or starter motor.
For example a battery that develops surface resistance on it's plates only after a couple seconds of cranking. You tested your battery - but did you test it with a load? Try a load test on the battery, keeping the load on for however long you're talking about.
OR... Does it start, then stumbles & almost dies, then gets back to running? In that case fuel stuff would be good to check.

Looking at what JimBlake says, i think hes got it. It starts the stumbles a little bit and sounds like its about to die on me. Much like when you almost stall a 5 speed. I guess i am going to check the fuel filter and then take it from there.
