starter or ignition
98 accord's has a recall for ignitions.. something about the ignition key hole being
wore out and u can put the key out without the car being in park position.
Now, my problem just started.. that warm or cold, when i turn the key nothing happens, no starting noise but lights and dash are ready.
somethings i have to turn the key 4-5 times and will start right up.
and then once in a while it will start up one the first try..
any ideas..

Re: starter or ignition (BK101)
I had that recall done, but it didn't seem like it had anything to do with your trouble. But I suppose it can't hurt. Was yours done? Gonna get it done?
Next time it happens, hit the starter with something. If that makes it go, it's the starter.

If it's a 4-cylinder, look underneath the distributor. Starter is about the size of a beer can, laying down on it's side, on top of the transmission.
