Hey im running a 2001 Accord Coupe and recently my friend set of my alarm by accident and after that my keyless ignition stopped working. It works if I have my key inside and I use my remote starter but if I take the key out the engine automaticaly shutsdown. Personally I think when my friend set off the alarm it did something and now I can only start it with a Key with a circuit inside of it (like most honda cars now) but without the key it won't start, so thats why my remote starter won't work. Is that a possibility? if so does anyone here know how to fix it? thanks
