Default please help me serious car proplems

i have a 99 acord auto 4cyl and today i was geting off the higway and the check engine light started to blink and did not stop and it took a very long time to get to higher rpm from a stop position and i put it in2 neutral and it stared to first bog out then it started to die out so i threw it into drive and when i got home i popped the hood and it smelled i do not have a clue what the hell is going on with this but can someone help me???

Your best bet is to get it somewhere where they can run a check on what kicked the light on. Kinda hard to try to diagnose this problem with no information ... from the OBDII system that is.

If a misfire is severe enough to damage the cat converter, the check engine light will blink.

A good place to start looking for trouble is the spark plug wires. Pull all four wires and inspect them for any obvious damage or oil contamination.

Did you just fill the car up with gas before you experienced the problems? I've had a couple the last few months. Pretty much the same thing you described. Engine starts to miss, check engine light blinks and the car is towed in...
