If you have an LX model, the O2 sensor should be in the exhaust manifold, located at the front of the engine, within easy reach. (I am not familiar with the EX model.)

they die after time... replace it.. this should clear the code.. if it doesnt or the CEL comes back shortly after its replaced the next thing to do is the MAP sensor in that plastic box on the firewall.

Primary= Upper, Which should be located in the header. Secondary= Lower, Which should be located in the catalytic converter. Primary will run you about $160, Lower will run you around $90-$100.

Default O2 Sensor Issue

Do you live in the south? I am not sure if that sensor is in a closed environment but three poeple I know through random associations have had to replace theirs this month( to the tune of $400). Is is possible the huge amounts of pollen combined with an older car is the culprit?

nope, but warmer air, and higher carbon count caused by it does. O2 sensors go out this time of year because of that, they were already on their last leg.
