no spark, replaced everything i can think
93 Accord lx not getting any spark, we replaced the distributor, ignition coil pack, wires, and plugs, and still don't get any spark. It's getting fuel, and turns over, but none of the plugs are getting any spark.
I am out of ideas, anyone else got any ideas? Quick responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just a thought, but could it be a main relay. Had similar problems with my Fiancees EG4 and it was the relay that caused the problem. Might be worth looking into.

Re: no spark, replaced everything i can think
I just remembered that the pump was not priming prior to starting the car so this may not be your problem!.
In the EG it was just above the drivers foot (in the dash). We drive a lot of JDM imports over here and on the left side of the road.
The relay Looks something like this

But the pump is priming.
How can you check if the main relay is bad or not?

If you have a voltmeter, use it to check and see if its getting power.
Touch it to the relays connection point and turn the key to accessory.
If it shows no power, then you have a bad relay.
I have honestly never had to check one of those relays so I could be talking out of my a** but that is the usual procedure.

Re: no spark, replaced everything i can think
Ok well, i replaced the Main relay, and still getting no spark what so ever.
So far this is the list of things that i replaced:
Spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Distributor
Ignition coil
Main Relay
Checked all of the fuses
Anyone have any other idea? Grounds that i don't know about? Anything that would stop it from getting spark? I'm out of ideas, and so far out of 300$ for all the new parts. :[

Re: no spark, replaced everything i can think
I checked the ground wire on the thermastat housing, it's fine.
I checked the ECU codes, and when i check, the Drive4 light in the dash board blinks, and it gives a few number sequences, which i am assuming is the ECU light.
The blinks it's giving is:
7 - TP Sensor (Throttle Position)
8 - TDC Sensor (Top Dead Center)
1 - Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary)
2 - Oxygen Sensor "B"
So i'm thinking the new Distributor i got might be bad, i'm gonna try to get another one to see if that's the problem. I'm out of ideas yet again, if anyone has anything, or any idea i can try, just shoot a reply.
Quick responces will be greatly appricated.
Thanks.

Re: no spark, replaced everything i can think
If I were you I would retrace my steps. I know it sounds like a pain but it might be worth it. check the ground to the coil if there is one. make sure the distributor is in correct. Ive never done any of it on a honda but why would it not start after you do all that? if it was running before you did the work. check over your work then go from there.

Check ALL of your grounds (grab a manual if you need to know where they are located). 9 times out of 10 that I've run into a "no spark" problem of my own, it's been a ground.

if it is a automatic also check the shift indicater sw under the center concole and check the wiring. when i changed mine from a AT to a manual i had to bridge some wires around there.

Re: no spark, replaced everything i can think
Well sorry for the late update, but come to find out, it was the Distributor that i got from Pepboys, took it back, got another one from Autozone, and bam started right up.
Pepboys = thumbs down.
Either way, thanks everyone for all the help.
