On cars with ABS, it doesn't really matter since once a wheel locks up, the ABS kicks in...
What happens to people that decide to disable there ABS systems? How would this affect them?

does anyone know if the PV is affected when doing a brembo big brake upgrade. If not then why would it be affected by the V6 or legend calipers???

the brembo calipers I think have three pistons for each side, if thats so how come the pv isnt affected???

Ok, got a question. Just looked on NOPI at the Accord MC. They only list two MC's. One is for 4cyl DX/LX models with no ABS and the other is for 4cyl EX/LX/SE models & V6 with Rear disc. Does that mean the 4cyl EX MC is the same as the V6 MC.

Read through this entire thread carefully. Its not about how many pistons you have... its about the total area of pistons you have. Brembo's 6 pistons all probably little tiny bastards compared to the larger piston(s) of a AV6 or Legend.

The area of front pistons:the area of rear pistons give you your vehicle's brake hydraulic ratio. That combined with weight distribution is what determines where a PV needs to be set.

A big brake upgrade isn't going to change the bias all that much. However if your piston area in the front increase too much then you end up with more pedal travel and decreased rear brake performance.

So since it looks like the MC on the 4cyl EX/LX/SE and the MC on the V6 are the same part, people with the AV6 caliper swap should be able to use either the 4cyl EX/LX/SE or the V6 MC with out upsetting anything. Also as long as the piston surface area on both the AV6 caliper and Legend caliper are the same or close to it then people with the Legend caliper swap should be able to use either of the two MC's previously listed. Hypothetically speaking of course. Someone help me out here, please. Does this sound feasible or is it way out in left field?
