I have a 94 Accord LX ,2 dr, 4 cyl, after drive for a while, the car just turn off by it self, and the check light comes up, then, I wait about 3 min, and I turning on, and works fine, I brought it to the mecanic, conected the computer, checked battery, Coil, distribuitor, switch, even, removed old alarm brain from the ignition switch, On the computer nothing is wrong, I don know what to do, when I left the shop, abot 20 min later, the car stops running AGAIN!..........

x3 on Ignition Switch (electrical portion)

Word of WARNING If you have air bags and go to change the electrical part of the ignition switch be very CAREFUL around the ribbon cable that attaches the SRS unit. The connectors are easy to disturb.

My bet is the 'ignitor' which is a module that lives inside the distributor. Your symptoms are very similar to what my car had when my ignitor was on the way out. Ignitors are killed by old age, and also by high resistance in the HT leads, so get those checked.

its the ignitor unit in the distributor, Chances are oil is leaking into there and it fried it.

Hahaha... that would suck if you were working on the ignition switch and then *BOOM* you got knocked out by the dang airbags.. *ouch*
