i wanna buy a motor from a kid, but its an auto tranny and i dont want it, so i wanna see what it is worth

 

I've seen them from $450 up to $1400 depending on mileage and condition. If you found someone who needed one you could prob get about $750 or so...

 

They are a dime a dozen around here. $500 sounds right.

I wouldnt pay a dime for one.

If I had an auto and needed to by another due to their probs....$400-$500.

I can get a F22b1, tranny, ecu, axles, and a handshake for $750.

 

i'm sellin my motor/tranny for like 5...i dunno about spending 5 for a ****** auto p.o.s.

 

yeah it depends on who your selling it too.. i mean i found a guy here whos tranny went out and they wanted like 1200 to fix and replace it. i told him i ll sell mine for 650. that was a hell of a deal. then you find ppl into performance and wont pay more than 300. it all depends on if they NEED it now and what and who they are.. sucker someone. but if they dont better you ll get a lot more. i d sell it in the paper or to someone who NEEDS it not. ... some avg . import enthusiatst.. damm i cant spell right now

 

Let us keep in mind here that we at H-T have sorta the inside scoop on pricing and stuff. Many people here don't want an auto tranny because this is a performance oriented forum. If you sold it to someone who just needed an auto tranny with a stock vehicle these people would be paying big money. In other words if sold to the general public they would go from 450-1400 bucks easily. Plus a mark-up from a mechanic or shop would make this even higher. The general public does not know that we can get **** way cheaper. Anyway just advertise it higher like $700 and let them talk you down...
